Bose Acoustimass 6 Series III Speaker System

Nice and compact, but does not deliver what Bose users are accustomed to. The Subwoofer is not powered and there is no adjustment for bass level other than on your receiver. This makes the bass effect minimal and this system a poor performer for those looking for theater sound. The single cubes throw sound not nearly as good as the newer double cube systems. I just bought it and am trying to sell on Ebay, loss or not. Spend the extra money and go for powered subwoofer and double cubes. One positive note is the system is very user friendly. The wiring provided by Bose is excellent and clearly labeled for easy setup. You really cannot make an error setting the system up. Still, all things considered, this unit worth maybe $300 tops. I would highly recommend Bose products, I am a loyal user and will buy nothing else. But this particular system is a failure on the part of Bose and a great disappointment for those of us with experience with that company.
