I've owned a Bose 321 for about 18 months. Last month the unit quit. Bose takes a position that basically says, "Buy a new one." As has been noted elsewhere, there were numerous glitches until the latest update. But complete component failure after 18 months of light usage is a new experience for me in gear with a $1000+ price tag.
I've been buying audio gear for 30 years. This was the worst purchase I ever made. And the factory thumbing their nose at my unit's failure was a new experience too. They weren't even interested in fixing it, though I offered to pick up the cost! Good money after bad; I'm probably better off.
This was my first, and certainly my last, Bose product.
