The Bottom Line:
Kindly compare these speakers at this price range with others at the store itself and you will know what i mean.
I got these speakers at circuit city from a friend as a gift. I connected it to my Denon AVR-1803 receiver with monster cables. I tried connecting to the front channels for testing the tonal quality of these speakers. I tried a few music cd's first and was really disappointed from the kind of sound that came from these speakers. There was no highs and no lows, just some ordinary midrange sound.
I was expecting something decent from these because of their brand names. My sony hi-fi speaker was far better sounding than this. I tried it as the rear channels and played some dvd's like The Matrix and was still unimpressed. It was just a ordinary surround sound speaker and i don't think i will buy it if i had another choice.
I still cant believe that Bose made this speaker sound like this.
