An Example of Quality and True Engineering!

Pros Everything... works way beyond expectations
Cons Some quirks with the on/off switch, rinse-aid door
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Don't hesitate to buy this machine.
After years of frustrating use and experience with other dishwashers, we finally found a unit that is a true work of art and engineering when it comes to quality and performance. Life is better now; knowing there still is a concern for quality in this world.

Our dishes have never been cleaner. Our old dishwasher left our dishes cloudy and never fully clean. After only a few washings, this machine cleans so well it makes everything looking brand-new… an unexpected benefit!

After reading other reviews of Bosch dishwashers, I was concerned about the drying. I don't really see a drying problem with this machine. It seems to dry just as well (if not better) that machines that have the heated coil drying method. The Optidry seems to work, however, I still get a small blast of steam when opening the door during the drying cycle… I thought I read somewhere that it wasn't supposed to do that… but it's really not a problem.

Quietness is not a priority for me, as I'd rather have clean dishes rather than a quiet dishwasher. Unexpectedly, this machine is so quiet you can hardly hear it (except for a small rumble noise)… and the dishes look brand-new after every wash!

If you are concerned about the manual filter… don't be. I rarely see anything in the filter except for popcorn kernels (now I know why my old dishwasher clogged so easily). It's not a problem at all to keep the filters clean.

The only quirk is that the machine appears to be on (but not running) when the cycle is done. I am not sure if the user is supposed to turn-off the power switch or not after the cycle, but again, not a big deal. They should rethink this… seems strange.

Our dealer recommended using powered soap and always use rinse-aid. I have noticed that sometimes the rinse aid door is open after a wash. I see this rarely happen and am not sure if it is supposed to do that.

This is a true review from an actual customer. I'm so happy with Bosch that I cannot wait for my clothes washer and dryer to break so I can replace them with Bosch appliances. Do whatever you can to spend the bit of extra cash to invest in this quality… you will not regret it!
