Looks Great, Very Quiet BUT whats up with the drying cycle?
Pros
Looks, Silent, washes dishes well.
Cons
Water issue, drying issue, long dry time
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
Buy it for looks, then buy extra drying towels
We just installed our SHX45, and like everyone talks about it looks great, very quite and the red light that shines on the floor is cool.
Here is my beef- I'm not all that happy with all the water that is in the tub after the wash is complete. I like to open the door and pull out dry dishes, there is so much water around the inside and the spray arms that I have to wipe everything off before putting them away. I unload while getting ready for work and this extra work stinks!
Also, I have to call Bosch customer service, when I pull out the filter I see a pool of water sitting in the filter area, is this an install issue, machine issue or is that normal? I can't see that a pool of sitting water could be normal. Do I have to dry off the inside after every cycle to avoid a mold smell like you have to do with those front loader washing machines?
The racks are very flimsy- I wish they were more secured to the rails. Everything inside looks to be very plastic and not all that sturdy, I guess time will tell how sturdy they really are.
