Pros Safe plastic, nice shape, venting system, doesn't leak, nice design, easy to clean
Cons Expensive, sometimes hard to find
Recommended it? Yes

When my daughter was first born, we used Dr. Brown's baby bottles. They seemed to work fine, but as I learned more about plastics leaching into foods, I wanted to switch to safe alternatives. I decided to get both Born Free plastic bottles and then some other brands of glass bottles (Born Free was... Read full review »

Pros BPA free PLASTIC, vented system, parts interchange with other products
Cons EXPENSIVE!!!!!!, limited availability
Recommended it? Yes

When my twins were born, we began using Dr. Brown's bottles for their superior control of gas and colic symptoms. However, over the months, I have become more aware of the possible dangers of the chemical compound Bisphenol-A (BPA).

After GOOGLE searching BPA, and making some telephone... Read full review »

Born free not valve free

Pros Odourless. PBA toxin free.
Cons Weird shape for small hands, leaky at times. Very costly.
Recommended it? No

Like most parents of bottle or sippy fed babies, the PBA news dropped on us like a bag of hammers.

I found the two pack after much searching, washed all the bits and the bottles. We used to use Dr. Browns and Avent, both just occasionally as my nursing baby isn't crazy about bottles when... Read full review »

Cons wide to hold, nipples collapse, not that user friendly
Recommended it? No

Why Born Free?

Born Free bottles are nice bottles but are by far not perfect. We wanted to get the best possible bottles for our twins so we looked around for a while. During my pregnancy I researched the better BPA, Pthlate, chemical, toxin free bottles. I found that born free would be a... Read full review »

Pros Great Vent system, No toxins, sturdy bottle
Cons Very expensive
Recommended it? Yes

I don't have to worry about toxins which is great but the bottle is to wide for my baby to hold. Also they are very expensive bottles and nipples. It is over $7.00 for two nipples after tax. Also each bottle runs about ten dollars. The venting system is great. the plastic on the bottles is... Read full review »

This bottle is a safe bottle and that is a bottom line for me when it comes to using them. At 4 months my baby was failing to thrive because of a supply issue I was having. It was heart breaking but while I was working on building supply a few bottles helped my baby thrive. I found them easy... Read full review »

Pros Great Design, Durable
Cons Overpriced

I breast feed and used these bottles as collection containers when I pumped at work. They are sturdy, easy to pour into and out of and never leaked. The shape is easy to grab. Which all features prevent spilling, the worst thing that could happen! Read full review »

Those bottles are easy to use, easy to clean and BPA free. They have glass version also, but those are heavy are breaking hazard. With appropriate nipples, they release just right amount of milk, without creating gasses or discofort for a baby. My son will polish a bottle of pumped milk in... Read full review »
