Boppy Pillow

I didn't even know what a Boppy was when I received mine at my baby shower. My aunt, a grandmother of three gave it to me, told me that her daughter used it for kids. I was unsure and it went into the uncertain pile (the stuff that might get returned...).

The day we brought my daughter home, I was exhausted and she was pretty much attached to my breast. My husband brought out the Boppy and hooked us up! She had a comfortable pillow and my back could feel some relief. The Boppy very quickly became my best friend.

Some of the nice features, besides saving your back: It adjusts very easily to any size woman. The half moon shape just pulls wider based on your needs. The Boppy is very portable. My mom thought I should buy some extras to keep in the car, or at Grandma's house. Well, extras were not necessary, I just threw mine in the car when I was going visiting. Because I didn't need extras, the Boppy was also affordable.

As my daughter grew and nursed less, the Boppy did not end up in the top of the closet, it went to the floor where she could use it as a base for learning to sit up. If she toppled over, she had a nice cushion to fall on. If she spit up on it, it cleaned very easily with a damp cloth.

Last, but absolutely worth mentioning, the Boppy comes in a variety of colors. It can complement your decor, your nursery, your clothing, whatever you choose. Ours had animals on it, and got even further use when it was time for our daughter to learn their names.

I would recommend the Boppy for any new mom, it can be used for bottle or breast feeding, and it will last and be a part of your child's life beyond those stages.
