I heard about the Boppy pillow from a friend, before I had my 2nd baby. She went on and on about how great it was. So, I ran out and bought one. I planned on breast feeding my baby, so I figured this would be perfect for me to use.
Unfortunately, Jordan did not breast feed. Boppy still came in handy for bottle feeding, though. I would put the Boppy on my lap then hold Jordan. It put him closer to me while he was eating and I feel we got a closeness, as breastfeeding mothers and children do.
Boppy comes in many colors and patterns. They also make a neck support pillow shaped like a boppy. Boppy has so many uses. They say it will help your baby sit up, but Jordan just fell over, most of the time. It didn't support him too well.
The only thing I see wrong with a Boppy Pillow is that they (can) break. My oldest son and husband were playing with it one night and it split into two pieces, right in the middle. I was able to sew it back together, but it just hasn't been as strong.
I would recommend Boppy to anyone who is pregnant or has a newborn.
