It was a favorite as a child, and it's still a favorite of mine
OK, now this is going to sound a little weird, but I have to say that as an adult, I searched stores for two years for "The Monster at the End of This Book," and I don't have kids. And I wasn't even looking for the book to gift to a kid. I was looking for it to add to my personal bookshelf.

cute book for young kids
My son received this Grover book as a gift from his grandmother and he likes it a lot. He is 2 1/2 and he anticipates "the monster at the end of this book" and is excited to get to the end everytime. Read full review »
