In the sixth installment of the Full series of suspenseful comic romances, an Elvis convention and an ex-con are in town, and love is in the air for both man and beast; in other words, it's business as usual in the quirky town of Beaumont, South Carolina. Thirteen years ago, Carl Lee Staunton robbed an ATM van, killed an FBI agent, and hid the stolen money, presumably somewhere near Beaumont. Now, he's faked a heart attack to escape his Texas prison, and he's headed back to his hometown to pick up the cash and perhaps exact some revenge on the girlfriend who dumped him--Dr. Maggie Davenport, who's also the mother of his teenage daughter, Mel. So the FBI assigns agent Zack Madden to look after Maggie, but he finds himself taking a more than professional interest in her.
