The Bottom Line:  If you like Evanovich's writing style or comedy, and romance mixed into mysteries you will like this.
The author Janet Evanovich writes several different series, mostly they are combinations of romance, comedy, and mystery. One of the series that she writes about is the Full series. By Full I mean that the word Full is always in the title. This series revolves around the people in a small town by the name of Beaumont in South Carolina. Each book revolves around different characters, but you will always get at least a glimpse or a mention of characters from past books.

One Later Books in the Full is series is Full Scoop.

Full Scoop

In this continuation of the Full series we concentrate on the local pediatrician who is also a single mom by the name of Maggie Farnsworth.

Maggie has big worries because she once dated a very dangerous man by the name of Carl Lee Stanton. He has recently escaped from prison, and although the manhunt to try and catch him is pretty fierce he is determined to get to Maggie and her daughter. Maggie has something he wants, and he also want to take revenge on her.

The FBI figures that Carl Lee will attempt to get to Maggie so they send an agent named Zack to protect her and her daughter. Of course Zack's super hotness makes it hard for Maggie to concentrate, and he feels the same about her.

Meanwhile Carl Lee is making his way across the country, stealing cars, and leaving a trail of bodies behind him. It's only a matter of time until he reaches Maggie and her daughter, but will Zack's being distracted by love and lust keep him from protecting the object of his desires, and her daughter.

Fans of the series will be happy to see returning characters such as Max Holt, Jamie Swift, and Destiny. Of course Destiny the sexy psychic always provides some comic relief in this series, and destiny has a little side story line of her own going on this book. There are of course new characters introduced and I mean character in every sense of the word.

My Thoughts

This book like the others in the series contains humor and has laughable moments. The characters were all very likable. The romance was fairly normal and pretty believable. The Villian was pretty creepy, and the book like most of Evanovich's books gets pretty exiting towards the end, and it takes a more serious turn when it reaches this point. While probably not the funniest book in the series it still had its moments, and I found my self combing through pages, to try and find out what was going to happen next.

If you like Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series it is highly likely that you will enjoy this series as well. Evanovich has a way of making you laugh, but still she does not fail to create an interesting mystery, a sizzling romance, and even some scary or intense moments in her books.

Full Scoop is an excellent addition to the series.
