Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney
We let my son watch Diary of a Wimpy Kid and after watching it he wanted to read the books as he'd seen them in Scholastic Book Orders and his school's book fair. I ended up borrowing Diary of a Wimpy Kid from the library to read with my six year old.
