Sure he chewed it into half it's original size in under an hour, but it kept him interested! I would say if you are right there to supervise your dog, this is a great way to watch a movie without your young dog driving you bonkers. If your dog EATS the pieces he chews off, I predict a trip to the vet for emergency surgery, that's why I say only leave your dog with this if he/she is supervised. My dog eats ALL toys, but this one lasted just a wee bit longer than other toys in its shape and size, and smelled better than plain rubber bones. Also my dog has terrible allergies that make it impossible for him to eat anything but a special prescription diet, and this didn't trigger any problems.
