This replaced several things in my kitchen, and got my wife to make me coffee.

Pros No dirty coffee maker, easy, combines french press and good travel mug.
Cons Lid latch can come loose, grounds can make it into the drinking chamber if overfilled.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Solved problems I didn't know I had. I bought five and have had no buyers remorse beyond having lots of other coffee apparatuses that are no longer used.
My first coffee maker was a Capresso with a frother and an insulated carafe. The frother clogged, so then the best thing was the carafe, which would keep coffee hot for hours. And I had to clean it after every use.

Then came a french press, which gave better flavor, a smaller footprint and had more of a "cool" factor. But it didn't keep coffee warm very long. And it needed to be cleaned after every use.

Then, I found this option. It is the best of both of those options by keeping coffee hot for hours (about 2) by being double-insulated, and has all the benefits of a french press. Plus, you can see how much you have in there.

The bonus is that there is only one thing to clean.

It is well made and works about as well as you could hope. The lid's stopper is rubber and doesn't leak.

A one downside is that sometimes coffee grounds get above the filter. This happens exclusively when it is over-filled, which I have a bad habit of doing. Once you get the grounds on top, the only way to get them out of the drinking chamber is to dismantle it and get rid of the grounds, then reassemble.

I am more a fan of the product as an idea than I am of the execution of it. That said, the only thing I would change about it would be to improve the hinge on the lid. Sometimes it comes out and is rather hard to re-attach.

After the initial purchase of one, I increased my stock of these to 5. They are dishwasher safe and easy to unassemble and reassemble.

My wife had vowed never to make me coffee. Then we got this and she found it so easy and fun that she likes making coffee in it.
