This is a magnificent coffee maker!
I saw this bizarre coffee maker and was so curious I ordered one. It takes a few experimental pots to get the perfect flavor that is right for you. You should also invest in a burr grinder. I have found that 1oz. of quality beans, freshly ground and a full pot of water will give excellent results. I stir the grounds while it is brewing sometimes for even more flavor.
Some users may say it makes weak coffee, this is simply because they use too coarse of a grind, or old, pre-ground coffee.
Cleaning this machine is different, but better than an automatic drip. This is because who knows what is growing in the parts of a drip coffee maker that you can't see.
I have brewed pots of coffee for friends and they are amazed and always request a fresh pot when they visit.
