Good Marketing for a Poor Product

The Bottom Line:
Save your money and buy something else
After reviewing the extensive advertising on this coffeemaker we bought one and liked the looks but quickly realized we had been taken in by the hype. Despite using top quality, freshly ground coffee, the coffee taste was unremarkable and comparable to any cheap drip machine. The lower unit was extremely difficult to clean and quickly showed stains that were impossible to reach. The exterior plastic around the bottom of the lower unit began crazing and developed into 1/2" vertical cracks and then after about 5 months light usage (once in the morning only) the handle broke off. Would not recommend this product under any circumstances.
