Best coffee maker I've owned
Pros
Makes excellent flavored coffee, Coffee stays very hot

Control buttons not marked well. Somewhat awkward to take apart

The Bottom Line:
The flavor of the coffee makes this unit a big winner in my book and worth the price
I have gone from a Mr Coffee to a Braun to a Krups to the Bodum Electric Santos 12 Cup Coffeemaker Clear 3000-10 clear and I have to say it makes the best coffee I've every had a home.
I loved my Krups but it recently had a hemorrage and could not be saved, a moment of silence please. I have to be honest I bought the Bodum cause the concept seemed interesting and the fact that it looked pretty cool in the store. I have to admit watching it work is pretty neat however, the results are what sold me on this unit. The coffee flavor was excellent and the unit kept the coffee very hot. I also like the fact that you don't need paper filters.
There are 2 cons with the machine that I have found so far.
1)The control markings are hard to read
2)The funnel is a bit akward to remove
Oh yeah don't pull out the filter until you've emptied the grinds from the Funnel or you will have a mess as my girlfriend found out lol
Overall I think this a great unit and I would recommend it to everyone
