Yes
I've had this coffee pot for about four years, which is a record in our house. We seem to go through them quicker than socks. This could be due to the fact that we seem to have some adverse feelings toward spending more than twenty bucks.
Or it could be that I only use this one for tea. That's right, tea. I have my own special mix of teabags, brew a pot once a day, and am usually in business. (My husband has
a separate coffee pot actually used for coffee.)
I have to agree, the toughest thing about it is the basket. It is ridged on the inside bottom, and the dregs are very hard to clean after a few, (um, er, weeks).
The plastic outside is pretty tough, and easy to clean,
and so far, (another record), I haven't broken the brew pot yet. It consistently works, and brews a great, smooth pot of tea.
