About the title, emphasis on the word 'PC', and that is only caused by lack of competition. PC platform does not have many snowboarding games, and the ones that it has plainly suck. Boarderzone, easily the best looking snowboarder game ever made, is unfortunately not as good as some games that are currently available for the console.

If you have ever played Coolboarders for the playstation, you know that it offers an incredible game play unmatched by any other board game. When you approach logs and bridges, one of the buttons will do the grinding trick. Unfortunately, Boarderzone hasn't aquired that trick. There are many other tricks up its sleeve, but they are nowhere near as challenging and interesting as the Coolboarder's tricks.

The game offers many different modes of play, some of which include half-pipe and time trial. Moreover, its very easy to get into, and that is mainly caused by not having too many complex tricks. Press one button and you do a tight turn, hold another and you do a trick. Its plainly simple, and even your friend who hates video games can learn it within a few minutes. But, its simplicity is also its downfall -- you might get bored with this game easily.

The graphics are simply gorgeous. You get to pick from 6 different characters, and a bunch of actual boards. The background and characters are simply the best in any snowboarding game I have seen, including 'Ripping Riders' for the Dreamcast. What the game lacks in game play, it makes up in graphics. Nevertheless, if you do own Coolboarders and a playstation, don't waste your money on this game.
