A few days ago we were walking through our local store and as always ended up in the video section. We decided to look at the kid's videos because our son was starting to get tired of the same old ones we've had for months. Well also like always, we let him look and choose his own movie. So he chose Blue's Big Musical Movie.

My son and I have both become fans of Blue's Clues and watch it religiously! It's a great show and is very entertaining, so I was as excited as he was when we brought the movie home. It starts out almost exactly like the show, except Steve isn't the one that greets you. It has the clues to find out something, obviously, which is of coarse the best part.

Along the way through the movie, there's a lot of learning and entertainment. Like Blue's new friend, Periwinkle the kitten from next door, does some simple magic tricks. There's lots of singing and dancing. And almost best of all, there's a lot of singing about being whatever you want to be when you grow up and not giving up and going on when something unexpected happens. Okay that might sound a little complicated for small children but it's really simple, just like a lot of other things that they do on the show.

So we've had this movie for about a week now and my son demands to watch it at least once a day. He sits through the whole thing, sometimes "singing" along. And it lasts a whole hour and a half! It's a great movie for any parent of a toddler, preschooler, or even the young elementary schoolers. I personally think all of these kids will love this one!
