Yes
The Bottom Line:
Go for it if you want a premium quality headset, with a lot of unique features unparlleled in any other product.
I've owned so many bluetooth headsets, it would take the entire page to list them all. The issue always is the same; can the person hear you well, and can you hear them? The Blueant solved the issue if you can hear the other party. This is the first headset where I actually have to turn down the volume, or it is too loud. That is a true milestone! The earpieces come in a variety of sizes, nearly guaranteed to meet indivudual comfort expectations. I use the one that goes inside the ear canal to seal out any outside ambient noise. I could not ask for more.
The headset has two microphones to pick up your voice. The sound quality according to people I speak to is on the tinny side, but they can hear me. Notably, because there is no boom microphone feature, the mic's are set back perhaps a little far from the mouth, but none the less, it works ok. Do not turn on the maximum noise cancellation, because the person will complain about muffled sound, and very tinny voice quality. The normal noise cancellation is about all you can hope for.
The features built into this headset are also revolutionary. I love the fact I can 'talk' to the headset to connect to my my phone, check the status of the connection, answer incoming calls, and most importantly to check the charge status of the headset. No more wondering when the headset will go dead because of lack of power.
The voice dialing is nice, but it's dependent upon the phone, or you will have to settle for commands such as dial 1, dial 2, and you will have to remember which speed dial belongs to what person you are calling. If your phone supports voice dialing, you have no issue at all.
At the end of the day, this is probably the best headset out there today. The closest is the jawbone, but just skip that one; the noise cancellation is over hyped, and the features just pale compared to this Blue Ant. If you shop, you'll get this for about $89. It's worth the money, and delivers on exactly what is promised. That alone, is pretty unique today.
