Blue Buffalo Wilderness Adult Turkey and Chicken Dry Dog Food (5-lb bag)

My husband and I decided to switch to more natural foods when we looked at the label of the purina dog food we were giving our two dogs. We tried canidae and a few other brands before I found this one. We have two dogs, one of which is a siberian husky and the other is a pomeranian chihuahua mix. The pom mix would eat the purina and the canidae, but is a skinny little puppy. And when we got our siberian husky  from the humane society she was a sickly 40 lbs, and she was way too skinny, the vet told us to put at least 10 lbs on her. But she would not eat anything! Except human foods, she loved digging in the garbage!
Once we got this food for our dogs, they both ate happily, greedily almost. They used to eat maybe a cup or two total a day between the two. I wasnt sure how much to feed them so I followed the guidlines on the bag. Both dogs happily gained a few pounds in the first two months of eating this new food, but it was not a fat gain like I see other dogs do. They both got some more muscle on them. The husky is now at 52 lbs and the pom mix is a slim 12 lbs. The vet is so happy our husky is gaining. After they ate the 3 to 4 cups a day we put out for them for a few weeks, they are now down to eating 2 or 3, and maintaining a healthy weight.
The food is healthier for them, just look at the main ingredients compared to purina. Because they are getting more of what they need, its easier for them to digest, this making their bowel movements come much easier than before, and more regular. Also, on the old foods, they would get a runny bowel movement periodically and that (almost) never happens anymore. Every once in awhile it still does, when DH sneaks them some people food, but when it is strictly Blue Wilderness, no issues whatsoever.
