We ordered this chair after our Boon Highchair broke after a few years of use and abuse. (That is another great chair too!) I wanted another chair that would blend in nicely with our modern decor. I also wanted something that was as easy to clean as my boon. Well the Bloom Fresco has exceeded all my expectations. I originally ordered the regular Bloom. But soon realized the chair had some issues. First off the straps (which are part of a 5 point harness) would not stay tight. They kept slipping and wouldn't hold my little one tight into the chair. He could stand up with the straps on. Then my footrest broke, and then just a few weeks later the telescoping pole that holds the tray up broke and my tray would no longer stay up. So now you are wondering why in the world I gave thise chair five stars, huh. Well let me tell you. I wrote a nasty email to Blooms customer service about all the problems I had with my chair. I was not expecting anything in return. Within a week I had a brand new chair (the loft model) which raises to counter height, and an explanation as to why I was having these problems with my old chair. Customer service explained to me that even though the straps exceeded all safty standards the company felt they were too slippery and they had replaced them with coarser material. They also reinforced all the steel parts in the chair (i.e. the footrest, and telescoping pole). This chair is amazing. It will take from a newborn all the way through toddlerhood. There is a nest so baby can sit up higher and actually reach thier tray. It reclines to a full laying down postion. And can even be used at the table without the tray. This chair is amazing but there is more to be said about the customer service. To give me a brand new chair no questions asked is amazing. And I can say I have had my chair for a little over 3 months now and I have had absolutely no problems with the chair! I love it.
