Excellent product, but lid leaky.

Would absolutely recommend this coffemaker, simple and elegant.
This item not only looks good, it works good, keeps coffee hot, and there is no hot plate to deal with or get corroded. Thermos is solidly built, and cleanup is easy without a hot plate. Operation of the timer is two button simple, sets easy.
Coffee stays warm, without a hot plate, for many hours. Of course, this depends on how you define warm. Its not "piping" 5-6 hours after brew, but it is warm.
The only down so far is that when you clean the lid on the carafe, you can get water inside the lid that you have to shake out. I guess this can be prevented by not immersing the lid, but it often happens just if rinsed under the faucet. Doesnt cause any problems with operation, just a slight annoyance. Otherwise, works great. We love it.
