40$ can buy a lot of soft serve cones. Save yourself the hassle.
this was a father's day gift for my husband who is a soft serve fanatic. We have found this item to be pretty much useless. It makes a mess, wastes a lot of ice cream and seems to work only with certain brands. It didn't work for frozen yogourt, or with low fat ice cream. I would sooner just soften the ice cream and if you want mix ins put it ina food processor and save yourself the money.
Plus it doesn't compare in taste and texture to real soft serve so that was a disappointment too. I say stick with DQ soft serve - leave it to the professionals!
