The Bottom Line: Great to travel with, and Geez! Much as I love my coffee, Why didn't I come up with this invention :) Oh Well, I'm glad someone did.....

Good Morning! People...Want a good cup of java now?...and another to go? Only takes 2...min's...and...Yep! it's done.

I must say, I'm an all American coffee drinker, and Yes! you might say that I'm even addicted to this go-juice.

Gotta! have a cup, to get me motivated in the mornings.... With one to go, and another in the afternoons, to keep my battery charged...Must be alert! while at work...you know.

While Christmas shopping, and browsing through Kmart, a couple years ago. I saw this little Black & Decker Brew N' Go, on a shelf with a dozen more look alikes...Yep, well stocked for the season. Hey it's on sale too!...Yes, you guessed it. I bought it, right then and there....Even went back the next afternoon and purchased a second one for work...

Product Info: The Black & Decker Brew N' GO, Was purchased, on sale for 17.95, the regular price was 19.95....

Comes packaged very well. Sealed in a tough card-board box. The coffee maker is inserted, in a clear plastic bag with the styro-foam surrounding it..tightly. Comes with a one year warranty.

Brew N' Go is Compact in size...It's only (6.75"width), (6.88"depth), (10.25"high), and weighs (2 Lb. 4 oz.)...lighter than my purse....Hee..Hee!

Color choices are black or white. Comes with a 15oz.
stainless-steel, thermal-insulated, travel mug. Which has a contoured, black, easy-grip handle. The lid is also black and brew-through. (Which means you can actually brew your coffee with lid on!) There is some depth, in the lid, to hold the coffee as it brews, and drips into the mug, and through the small drinking hole. The mug has a tapered design to accommodate most vehicle cup holders. Also has a non-slip gripper bottom....

The "coffee maker", has an electrical cord approximatley (40") long, and a non-heated base. That's because you don't have a carafe to keep warm...but a thermal brew n' go mug...Yippee!

Black & Decker Brew N' Go, Is designed with a power lighted, On/Off switch, that shuts off automatically when brewing is done...."for peace of mind". Comes with a re-usable mesh, permanent filter and basket...So there's no need for paper disposables.

My Experience: love the convenience of having coffee whenever I want it, without making a whole/half pot, that would go to waste, or just sit and scorch.

It's great for heating up water for tea, hot chocolate or my swiss mocha...Mmmm...The second one I purchased for work, is handy for making instant soups, noodles, oatmeal. I've had mine for two years and haven't experienced any problems..and the warranty was for only one year...I've got my money's worth, if it stops working right now, I can't complain, but replace. I can say I got quality and value with the Black & Decker Brew N' Go

The instructions said to wash by hand with warm sudsy water. But I have put the mesh filter, filter holder, and stainless steel mug in the top rack of the dish-washer. No problems there...still using um'

If I had one complaint...Well, it would be that the mesh filter will stain...but it's clean! I've enjoyed this little brew n' go, and I would purchase again.

To Use: Lift the water reservoir cover, and fill with 15 oz. of cold tap/ or room temperature bottled water, and then....

Place the reusable mesh filter, in the filter basket. Next step..Add 1-1/2 tablespoons (or your desired strength).. of drip, or regular ground coffee into the re-usable mesh filter...Now gently shake the removable brewing basket to evenly distribute the coffee in the filter...Next place the filter basket into the brewing chamber, and close the reservoir.

Leaving the lid on your thermal-travel mug, place it onto the mug stand, below the brewing chamber...make sure it's plugged in...Now press the start button. The indicator light will come on....and now you're brewing! Only takes a couple minutes. When brewing is finished, the coffee brewer will shut off automatically...Wha-La!

Care and Cleaning: Washable parts are the, reusable mesh filter, filter basket, and stainless steel mug. Wash by hand in warm sudsy water...rinse well, then dry by hand or, on a paper towel to air-dry. Clean the exterior surface of the coffee maker with a soft damp cloth. Never use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.

Another recommendation, to keep your coffee tasting like coffee, is to clean the interior and reservoir. To remove any build up of mineral deposits, left by water.

At least once a month, fill your mug with one part white vinegar and three parts cold tap water...Pour the mixture into the reservoir. Slide the mug (with lid off) onto the mug stand, and press start button...

When finished, allow coffee maker to cool, then repeat twice more, using water only..to cleanse away all the vinegar.
