Cons
Making toast

No
The Bottom Line:
Do not buy if you need to make toast, it takes forever.
When our old Black & Decker Toaster Oven which was 8 years old, died I ventured out to Wal Mart to purchase another.
With several brands and models to choose from, I decided to stay with Black& Decker. The price was $42.00 and I liked to three controls and the style. This model has a crumb tray which I find easy to remove crumbs when cleaning. The oven itself is easy to clean. The outside does not get hot and it has never leaked smoke.
When I first made toast I set the dial to medium and when finished the bread was still soft. I had to set the dial twice for dark before I had a light brown toast. I was very disappointed. The Toaster is now one year old and it still takes two times at dark for decent toast.
The door is hinged to this half moon shaped hooks and at times the door catches and will not open all the way.
I should have returned this oven, but I kept it. The oven and broiler work great and the oven is easy to clean. The only feature that I do not like is the toaster. Depending on how long this oven last, I will check epinions on my next purchase to see what Toaster Oven has the best reviews.
In fact the only complaint I have is the way the unit makes toast, but then again that is what we use this oven for the most.
