The Black and Decker DCM 2500 coffemaker is an absolutely great product - with one possibly fatal flaw. It is one of the lower cost coffeemakers on the market. It has great looks and brews great tasting coffee. It brews a full pot of coffee quickly, generally under a minute a cup.

Piece of JUNK!
Bought this coffee maker for an exorbitant price about a month ago. Bought it specifically for the timer feature. Christmas Eve, it just stopped working. Worst coffee maker ever!
It is impossible to clean this coffee maker. The grounds basket gets very nasty, and is grooved, which makes it awkward to get clean. The carafe has a piece of plastic that the lid is mounted to, that somehow captures coffee underneath it. Even after washing the carafe, old coffee still drips out... Read full review »
So-So coffee maker

Worst coffee maker I've ever had
If you don't put the glass carafe on the base just right, it causes the coffee to stop dripping, backing up. Then it spills hot coffee and grounds all over the counter. Also. as the review above said, the grounds get caught in a plastic appendage and won't get clean. Read full review »
Smart Brew is not real smart
