I Feel the Need - the Need for Speed!
Background:
When my hubby and I moved in together we have no mixer at all. We now have two; the KitchenAid 325 Watts Artisan Stand Mixer and this one. The Power Pro was a Christmas gift in 2005; my mother has one and thought it would be perfect for my first mixer.

Where's the drywall screw attachment?
This mixer is just too fast - even on the lowest speed. You have five settings of too fast, with a power boost button to make things even worse. You lose control of the mixing process as a result. Works Well and Good Price
I've had this hand mixer for several years and it works great. I don't use it on my heavy duty cooking but when I need a quick mix I reach for this. Has plenty of speeds and power for most of my cooking. Read full review »
too fast
This mixer is all about speed and not power. Even the slowest setting is too fast. Great for icings but murder on mashed potatoes. You'll have pieces flying everywhere. Read full review »
Ultra 00ber speed! .. but plenty of torque
I got it to replace an older, weak Sunbeam or summat that was rated at 100 watts, I broke that mixing some Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. I agree on the other reviews about it's speed, OMG it's so fast at 1!! I can't imagine why you would need the other 4 speeds (2-5) OR the POWER BOOST!..well maybe... Read full review »
Good value, does not mix slowly
This Black and Decker hand held mixer is just okay. I would agree with the other customers who have reviewed it. It have 5 speeds, and I've only ever used the lowest speed, and it is pretty fast. If you want more control, or a lower speed, you'll have to upgrade! Read full review »
