GARBAGE

Pros NONE
Cons EVERY THING! LOUD, UNRELIABLE, DOES NOT DO AS PROMISED.
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  Save your money- this will break quickly with the gentlest of use and won't do all it is supposed to in the first place.
I bought this at Target for the express purpose of making baby food. It was purchased just under three months ago and used very lightly. I never used it to knead bread dough, because the bread blade doesn't WORK. I tried once and found it easier to just hand knead my dough! So this afternoon, I took the processor out to shred potatoes and apples for latkes and applesauce, and what did I get? Bubkes. First, I set it up to shred. It insisted on slicing. I spent about fifteen minutes playing with it trying to fix this, then the situation became worse. The motor is as always loud enough to wake the neighbors, but the spindle now doesn't turn. After about twenty tries at resetting up the whole thing, the spindle started to spin, but when I added two softened, bite size potato cubes, it stopped. Went through that about twenty times, too. It's kind of hard to give up on chanukah dinner! But finally, I give- this thing is just GARBAGE. Perhaps Black and Decker should stick to making power tools and stay out of the kitchen.
Target should be ashamed of themselves for selling such CRAP.
Thanks Black and Decker- No traditional chanukah dinner for my kids tonight. Thanks A LOT. :-(
