A mediocre grinder
Pros
Does a good job of grinding the beans. Well constructed.
Cons
Requires constant shaking. The output opening is too small.

Bottom Line Up Front: Pay a few dollars more and get the Capresso 551.
We needed a grinder at work and I'm a fan of Black and Decker. So when I saw this at Target I did not hesitate to buy it. The first time I used it I knew I had made a bad choice. The design of the hopper does not allow the beans to fall easily into the grinder so you have to constantly shake the grinder. It stopped working about the fourth time I used it. It turned out that some sort of safe guard had kicked it and shut it off because the output opening had become clogged. Once I cleaned out the opening it worked again. It clogs really fast with flavored beans, the ones with a coating. I have the Capresso 551 at home and love it. The Cappesso allows the beans to fall easily from the hopper to the grinder and it's large output opening only requires cleaning once every month or so. Also, once you tell the Capresso how long to grind you just press the on button and walk away.
