Terrible waste of money

I like the heavy glass container and the design.

It failed just after the one year warranty.

I bought this just over one year ago and have probably used it seven times. While making dip for a party, it just quit. After letting it rest over 24 hours it still would not power on. My husband tried opening it up to see if he could fix it, but most of the components were computerized. He was able to make it turn on, but that happened only with a flurry of sparking.
