Complete garbage - might as well burn your money

Not recommended
The BL5000 certainly looks like a serious blender, with its glass jar and stainless finish. Unfortunately, looks can deceive. Worked well the first time
While it looked stylish and seemed like a heavy duty blender for the price it has mysteriously stopped working after the 1st use. The first time it blended great. The second time we plugged it in, pressed the power, and nothing. It has refused to even pretend like it might work again.

Can not recommend
I used this product primarily for making smoothies. It lasted 2 days the first go round. The blade mechanism stripped. The company sent me a new mechanism promptly. That one lasted 6 weeks.
