It burned in less than 3months

We purchased a BL5000 three months ago. The machine worked as a charm for the first month, and the second. On the las month the machine would turned by its own. The first time it happen in the middle of the night, at three o'clock in the morning. It scared the hell out of me and my parrot.
A few nights ago it turned on again in its own, but this time I was not home so it burned the plastic around the prop.
I think it is time to buy a blender again, yet this time won't be a Black and Decker.
