Black & Decker ProBlend BL5000 5-Speed Blender

We received this blender a gift (mainly for making smoothies) and liked it for the sleek modern look. But that is where it ends. One of the blades snapped right off after 1.5 months of use. The customer service has been very poor from Black and Decker. It has been nearly 2 months since I informed them of the broken blade and 1.5 months since they said they were sending me a replacement. I sat on hold for 25 minutes today, only to have a machine take the call and inform me to leave a message that would be returned in 48-72 hours. Bottom line, scary, poor quality, cannot crush ice and terrible customer service. But you could buy it to look pretty on the kitchen counter though!
