I have been a coffee drinker for about 40 years and I must say I have seen my share of different coffee makers and tried them. But the Black and Decker is the best one I have found. You can set timer on it and have coffee when you want, and makes 2 to 12 cups. It is very good for someone who needs the extra counter space. I have had 3 of these myself, they do not go bad but I just keep up-dating to the newest one that comes out. The glass pot is easy to clean, and keeps the coffee fresh.
