Can't Live Without My Coffee
Pros
Automatic timer; Auto shut off
Cons
Coffee pot not big enough; more like 4-6 mug size
Recommended it?
Yes
I received the Spacemaker 12 Cup coffee maker last year as a gift. I had recently moved into a home that had very little counter space to start with, and I didn't want my old coffee maker taking up my prime "working" space. I decided that a spacemaker would be the perfect solution to my problem.
I have been extremely happy with this coffee maker. The outstanding features I use most frequently are the automatic timer (nothing like rolling out of bed on a Sunday morning to coffee that ready and waiting). Also, because I have a tendency to forget that the coffee pot is on, I appreciate the fact that the Spacemaker has an automatic shut off sensor.
On the negative side, the only bad thing I can say is that 12 Cups as a unit of measure seems to be stretching it a bit. Now, maybe it has more to do with the fact that I prefer to drink my coffee from the larger thermal mugs, but I don't think 12 Cups is a realistic unit of measurement. It might be more like 4-6 mugs for the average user.
Other than that, I've had no complaints (other than the fact that it took my husband about 3 months to get around to installing it for me!). Since then, it's been working fine.
