A nice bit with low leverage from the shank and curb chain. Cheeks are 6" stainless and the 5-1/2" copper wire wrapped mouth is 3/8" with a link. This bit works with pressure on the tongue, lips and bars. For the gag to function properly adjust the headstall up to one wrinkle and allow about four fingers space under the curb chain.

The "CG" is one of the first bits Carol designed. She developed this bit especially for her champion mount "Dobre" in the late seventies. The chain snaffle mouthpiece and short gag action makes this bit soft and forgiving in a horse's mouth. Horses tend to feel comfortable in this bit and show a lot of response without overreacting.
