Wavering on the Bissell Velocity
Pros
Great suction that only requires going over an area once.
Cons
Not all pieces could be attached to the vacuum. High-pitched noise.

It took me a long time to decide on buying a reasonably priced vacuum cleaner does could do the job. Based on the reviews of this website, I purchased the Bissell Velocity Bagless Vacuum. I paid $109 with a 20% discount from the store. Upon putting the vacuum together, I discovered that it was bit difficult to get pieces to snap into place as they should. I still have not been able to get the lower hose clip on. I checked out a couple store displays on this vacuum and found that the store employees also left this piece off the display (having the same problem that I did).
The Velocity cleans well with good suction, although I have only used it a couple of times and have not put it through the full battery. I also noticed a bothersome high-pitched noise not common to vacuums that is beginning to make me wonder if this one is simply defective.
