Great little Boo-Boo Fixer
Pros
Easy to cleanup, lightweight, heater feature, scrub head attachment really rocks, doesn't use excessive fluid
Cons
Kinda noisy
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I'd definitely recommend this spot-cleaner. The canister style is easier to use and less harmful to your wrist/arm. It cleans up great and doesn't take up a lot of room.
I bought this because I have 4 dogs that stay indoors most of the time (yes, I am crazy). Inevitably, there are occasionally little 'gifts' when I get home from work. I checked out several different models, and this one seems to have very good versatility.
The separate tanks for dirty/clean are VERY easy to remove and rinse out. The machine itself is light and easy to move around for hitting the spots that Spot leaves behind. The heater is a nice feature - I think it does help get the carpet clean better and more quickly. It has two different brush heads, the 'regular' one seems to pick up the water better. The motorized one is noisy but really gets the stain up well. I usually use the motor one first then the other one real quick to get all the water out.
It is very miserly with cleaning solution. I filled the tank according to direction, and only used a very small amount of it. I ended up using an old water bottle (label removed and carefully marked) to store the leftover, which I have yet to go through after several uses.
Not a good choice for large areas, but then it wasn't meant for that anyway.
I'm attacking the velour seats in my 20-year old rig next. Should be good.
The only thing I don't really like is the noise, but I think all carpet machines are obscenely noisy. This isn't more or less so than my regular vacuum.
The price was great -only $99.
