The Bottom Line:
I recommend this product, especially to pet owners. Its very handy and cleans up quickly.
I've had my little green machine for about 3 years now, and I'm afraid I've worn the sprayer out.
I have a cat and a dog, and this vacuum has been very handy. It will not replace a full-size carpet cleaning vacuum, but it will get new spots out. If the mess has soaked in for a while, you may want to use a stronger vacuum, this one will suck up surface messes, but will probably not clean padding underneath carpeting or stuffing in a sofa.
The sprayer is helpful, but because it is built into the vacuum, it will get dirty. I've either worn mine out or its clogged with yuck from a few years of use. I wish the sprayer/vacuum head were easier to clean, mine is full of pet hair, and the nozzle is too thin to put anything into it to clean it out. I'd take it apart, but I'm afraid the hard plastic nozzle-head will break. The vacuum feature still works, so i just use it without the sprayer.
the waste-water container does get a bit gross. the top that keeps it closed is not sealed very well and can make a mess when you remove the container to dump it. its also not very easy to rinse out and clean.
