Steam REALLY lifts out the dirt; microfiber covers sop it up like crazy.

Almost didn't buy this after reading some negative reviews...glad I gave it a try! I have a very unprofessionally installed tile floor, very uneven, rough- finished tile. Light colored, of course. Three dogs and myself traipsing through the mud/dog room and kitchen all day after coming in from a muddy yard. I really thought it was hopeless. Tried a sponge mop, rag mop, hands-and-knees scrubbing. What a pain. Took forever and result was marginal. This steam mop took a fraction of the time, cleaned really, really well. I couldn't believe those microfiber covers did such a great job. By the time I finished, the floor was already dry where I had started. And NO chemical smell...just clean.
