This is the perfect mop for great, easy cleaning, and it's eco-friendly as well. No chemicals. I'm glad I found it!
I was blown away by how good this steam mop is. I am talking about the 1867-7, an upgrade from the 1867. Get it going and watch your messes disappear. By the way, the picture on the site for this product is of the original 1867, a white model, not the "green tea" (light green) upgrade.
For me, it's mostly about my pets and their messes. What would have taken a long time to clean up was wiped up in a few minutes with this mop. And everything smelled clean, clean, clean afterwards. The hot steam just eradicates the odors as well as the messes.
A trip around a bathroom was a breeze as well. I love the swivel head that gets everywhere.
I have tried the Swiffer/GrabIt, etc. mops and don't like the chemical residue they leave behind. And I REALLY don't like having to continually buy replacement pads for them. That's like buying a printer and paying way more for replacement cartridges than I did for the printer. Which is why I use refill kits, which work great for a fraction of the cost.
I found that I could easily rinse out a pad, wring it out and use it again right away to complete a job instead of having to put it through the washer. The pads readily release the gunk under running water. After a couple of uses, I'll throw them in the washer.
I bought mine from Home Shopping Network, with four pads included, but see that there is a better deal from Amazon (with two pads), with free shipping. On the other hand, there are links on epinions to sites that sell it for over $159! No need to go there. I don't care that I paid a bit more than the lowest price out there, because I am so happy with the performance of this mop!
Do yourself a favor and try this out!
