Works great.. But...
Pros
Cleans up stains/spills great
Cons
extremely short battery charge
Recommended it?
No
With a puppy in the house I thought a spot lifter would be a great idea. I seen the Bissell spot lifter and though great just what I need! I tried it on a puppy stain, and it took it out wonderfully.
I paid $50 for my spot lifter, I thought it was rather pricey, but Bissell is a good brand name. I should of read the box before I bought it though. Even though the spot lifter comes with a little trial bottle of cleaner, and wall bracket and a little scrubber, What I failed to realize was the battery only stays charged for 5 minutes, that isn't enough for some spills. And to recharge it takes almost a whole day.
I also had a problem with dripping water from the tank, I don't know if I tipped it wrong and the water ran out, but it got into the motor and blew it and my spot lifter died. I called Bissell and they were great about it and sent me a prepaid sticker to put my spot lifter in a box and ship it back to them so they could replace it.
I think Bissell should of thought out the idea of the spotlifter a little more than than did, 5 minutes of charging power just isn't enough. I would of rather of dealt with a long cord attached to it or something.
in all the spot lifter has great possibilities, and it works great when the battery is charged.
