When They Say "Spot" They aren't Kidding

The bad news is that you have only five minutes of battery life to eradicate that stain! The other bad news is that then the battery has to recharge for 8-14 hours. The good news is that the Spot Lifter does do a jam up job of sucking up little spills in places inconvenient for the big shampooer - like the car or the sofa arm.
I discovered the bad news when I bought this in an emergency-type situation hoping to quickly zap out some coke stains in the back seat of the car - and then had to wait a whole day for the battery to charge before I could use it. So PLAN AHEAD! That said, I love that the Spot Lifter will in fact go right out to the driveway without a cord to worry with. The cleaning fluid that came as a sample with the machine does appear to work well but has a sort of funky smell (not exactly "New Car" aromatherapy). I had to refill the cleaning solution 3 times within my five minute window of opportunity (but it was a rather large coke stain).
Since that first lukewarm experience I have found that as long as I keep the Spot Lifter constantly charged it is wonderful to have it at the ready for the myriad of disasters that go on in a family with kids and pets. This machine is very very easy to use and appears to have quite a bit of power. It is a great household accessory!
