Bissell 1715-G Bagless Handheld Vacuum

This little thing was given to us as a Christmas present and we wanted a spill to try it out. Well, w/ kids and a dog you don't have to wait long. This cleaner is great. It is lightweight and easy to use. The controls are are accessible to one hand, which is all it takes. The spray mechanism distributes the water evenly and with the right amount of pressure. The cleaning solution has a pleasant smell. Yes, it does pick up the stain quite well. It may take a couple of passes across the spot but it does a great job.

There are a couple of let downs. The running time is only about five minutes. It loses power after that and needs to be recharged for several hours before it can be used again. However, this machine is not made to pick up big jobs. The last drawback are the attachments. It came with a squeegee thing that cracked after the first use. It also pops off the intake if you use too much pressure. These are pretty small annoyances, but maybe the next model will make that improvement. Great little product for the price...especially when it's given to you.
