When I got this thing I was thrilled! What a great idea! I use it constantly! Well, after using it for a while, it really could be better. Mine leaks constantly when I use it. The soap mixture holder leaks soap into the motor. When I turn on the machine I am sprayed with what ever liquid is in the motor. I take very good care of my bissel, I should not have to deal with this. Nobody should.
Needless to say, the battery really should last longer. The soap tank would be a lot nicer if it was bigger too. It would really rock if it was easyier to clean as well.
It does work well sometimes, but I'm always left with a dissapointed feeling that if the machine was better I might have gotten that spot out. I'm now looking to replace my cheaply made bissel. I'm afraid it's just going to brake down one day when to puppy pees on the rug and it won't be there when I need it.
I'm going to spend the extra cash and buy a cleaner I can depend on. I can't live with out my stupid bissel cleaner. I have 4 kittens, a puppy, and a 10 month old little girl. Reality of life says that if you have kids, you need a cleaner. Just make sure you put your money on the right one.
