For $29 you can't be without it!

Pros Great lil' sucker!!!
Cons Can't use on A/C. Short battery life.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  It's essential to have around. It does just what it says, is easy to use, easy to clean, & powerful for such a nice compact item! I love mine!
I purchased my Spot Lifter just last week. I'll spare you the very gory details of how I decided to buy one but it does involve a nasal hemorrage that ruined my house to the tune of $4,000 and took enough blood out of me to bring my BP down to 90 over 55... enough said. You can just envision the carpet.

Insurance paid for the carpet but the problem could have been greatly alleviated had I owned this lil' sucker when that event happened.... I could have pulled much of the damage up upon occurring. I DIDN'T WANT to replace the carpet. It's only one year old, special order color that took 3 months to get, and NOW cost $69 per square yard.

Anyway, after the heartbreak of my ruined carpet I decided since I DO tend to spill anything colored (never water, 7 up or white wine, mind you... only things that stain... they must be magnetized to carpets), that this would be a handy little device to have around.

Well, I took it home and gave it a full charge and poured some hydrogen peroxide over the blood on an area rug (that insurance didn't cover), rubbed it a bit, and then put the Spot Lifter to work. Guess what! No more spot!!! Sucked the whole thing out.

I then decided to test out just how well it would actually remove liquid. I poured 1/2 cup of water (purified, so as not to potentially stain) in a carpeted closet. I let it sit for about 3 minutes. I figure in a real spill that's how fast you'd be able to grab your Spot Lifter and go to work. I measured the water that the Spot Lifter picked up and it was all but about one or two tablespoons.

Today my little 4 lb. Maltese made a little pee off of her Piddle Pad. You can see a "pee" right away even though she's just a tiny dog because my carpet is super light. Well, I grabbed my Spot Lifter and it SLLUUURRRPPPPED it right up. No more spot.

Having owned it for one week I wholeheartedly recommend it for small spills like a drink going over or something of that nature. At the VERY LEAST it will pull most of the liquid out and if you later do need a professional carpet cleaner to come in it will be a lot less expensive and the carpet will come out much nicer.

My professional carpet man said "For $29 you got yourself a bargain, that will come in handy". So he, too, recommends it.
