Bissell 1715-G Bagless Handheld Vacuum

This vacuum has much promise. It's on the small side, lightweight, and allows for wet cleaning of stains. However, you must charge the vacuum's battery before you use it, and the battery starts to die about three minutes into the cleaning session. This means that as soon as you've sprayed the cleaning solution on the stain and started to vacuum it, the battery dies. Then you are left with your original mess plus the cleaning solution. There is no way to run this vacuum from an electrical outlet. If I'd known how poor its power and battery were I wouldn't have bought it. It would be less trouble to just plug the thing in, deal with the cord, but be able to clean up the mess in ten minutes, rather than 12 hours of charging for three minutes of good use.
The fluid the vacuum collects is difficult to drain. If you tilt the vacuum forward at all, the fluid leaks right out the front. It's difficult to get the fluid collection chamber clean, as well.
