Cleans well when new, Built to break Stay away!

Pros Few and far between! Cleans well between repairs.
Cons Many and numerous! Something goes wrong every time you turn it on.
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  Stay away from this one! Carefully read reviews of other products from this company as well because they all seem to have the same lack of quality.
I bought this thing thinking it was a good brand. Boy was I wrong!

When you think of this brand name think of junk! If you are mechanically inclined and love to take things apart and fix them, this is the machine for you!!!

This machine will start to break the first time you use it. When it is working I found it cleaned well, suction was good and the carpet dries quickly. The problem is that I have spent more time fixing this piece of junk than actually cleaning with it.

When you bump into furniture or a wall too hard, the cover to the main suction head separates slightly from the body and you loose half of the suction. It's obvious when it happens because you can hear it. When it happens you have to turn the machine off and push down on the cover to get it to reseal.

This machine has an automatic valve that mixes the water and the cleaning fluid as it is pumped out. The problem is that if you turn it too far either way the connector inside will come loose and it will either be stuck on or stuck off with no way to fix it without removing the main cover. No, I'm not some he-man that doesn't know his own strength. There isn't a stop to prevent you from turning the knob too far. It doesn't take much force at all to break it loose. If they had just put a stop on the mechanism to prevent it from turning too far but I think Mickey Mouse was the lead engineer on the design team so it is what it is.

Be careful of the diverting knob that switches between floor suction and hose attachment suction. If you turn this one too hard the connector will separate inside and you will have to remove the cover to fix that.

Now, if that wasn't enough, I found that the fluid pump is only good for about 10 hours before it fails. That was about 5 whole house carpet cleaning sessions for me. In my case, the pump slowly went south. At first you have to squeeze the trigger on and off several times to get the fluid flowing. It gets worse and worse until one day, nothing will come out.
Now, since I am mechanically inclined and like to fix things plus I couldn't afford to go buy a new one, I decided to replace the pump. Fortunately you can buy replacement pumps on the web for $35-$40.
I won't go into detail concerning the repair process, suffice it to say that this machine was not designed to be repaired. It is a complete pain in the butt to put back together after you take it apart. It's not rocket science, the only tools required are a long Philips screw driver and a pair of pliers. The problem is that it's tricky to get the tubing and other stuff lined up and back where it belongs.
